About Matt
Matt Grew Up Here. He Knows the Shore.
Matt moved to Ocean City in sixth grade, graduated from Ocean City High School and, after Penn State, came back to the place that had become home.
Today, he helps people find their own place at the South Jersey Shore — whether that means a vacation home, a move here full-time, an investment or simply figuring out which community feels right.
Connect With Matt
A Long History at the Shore
Matt’s Connection to the Shore Goes Way Back
Matt knows Ocean City from growing up here, not from studying a market map.
By high school, he was running a boat-detailing business and spending plenty of time around the marinas and waterways that are such a big part of Shore life.
He knows what it’s like when summer is in full swing and what the island feels like after the crowds thin out. And the surrounding towns were part of everyday life too — going over the bridge, seeing friends, going out to eat and spending time on the water.
That history gives him context that you can't get from listings alone.
How Matt Works With You
It Usually Starts With How You Want to Live
Matt doesn’t expect you to know exactly where you want to buy when you first call him.
You might know that you want to walk to the beach. Or keep a boat behind the house. Or have enough room for the kids and grandkids. Maybe you’re trying to decide whether island living or the mainland makes more sense.
Matt starts there.
Once he understands what you’re picturing, he can help you make sense of the towns, neighborhoods and properties that may fit.
What Matters to You
Beach, boating, space, walkability, rental potential or everyday convenience — your priorities come first.
Where It Might Fit
Matt can help you compare Shore communities and neighborhoods based on how you actually plan to use the property.
What’s Worth a Closer Look
The listing is only the beginning. Matt helps you think about the practical details too.
Straight Answers
He’ll Tell You What He Thinks
If Matt sees something he thinks you should know, he’ll tell you.
That could be something about the property, the street, parking, boating access, the neighborhood or simply whether he thinks a home is worth making the trip to see.
His job isn’t to talk you into a property. It’s to help you feel comfortable with the one you choose.
When You’re Not Here
You Don’t Have to Be at the Shore for Every Little Thing
A lot of Matt’s clients don’t live nearby full-time.
He’s used to doing video walkthroughs, taking another look at something a buyer noticed online, checking on a property or helping with things here when someone can’t get to the Shore.
Sometimes the most helpful thing he can do is save you a trip.
After Closing
You Can Still Call Matt After Closing
Need a contractor? Wondering who to call about the dock? Looking for a local recommendation?
Matt doesn’t disappear once you get the keys.
He grew up here, knows people throughout the area and is happy to help when questions come up after you own the property too.
